About Animé
Animé is a Czech rock music group from Brno, which was formed in 1999 and first presented itself with the demo Direct Sunlight, which was a mixture of melancholic doomrock and post grunge guitars. The positive responses brought with them the first wave of comparisons and labels; the most common include art-grunge or emo rock, long before the boom of the "real" emo genre. Their latest release is the album Clarity Clouds from 2023.
