CAMP Tour: Vyšehradský park

Camp Tour through Vyšehrad Park.

Vyšehrad Park is irrigated with water from the Vltava River. How does the water from the river get so high? There are both Mediterranean cacti and descendants of monumental trees in Vyšehrad. Participants will explore the Vyšehrad National Cultural Monument and discover its normally inaccessible lake inhabited by sturgeons or the local beehive. The management of the Vltava water, composts and the actual propagation of plants will be presented by Helena Pánková, the local park manager. They will also focus on the current challenges associated with the care of greenery at this historically important site, which is directly managed by a specially established contributory organisation of the City of Prague.
