About Dave Chappelle
Chappelle already performed in comedy clubs as a teenager and moved to New York in 1991 to make a living off of his passion. He became famous with his TV program Chappelle’s Show and has become an integral part of the US comedy scene. Dave Chappelle is a stand-up comedian and actor who uses his ingenuity and audacity to bring issues such as racism, pop culture, politics, sex, drugs and fame closer to his audience. In 2017 he celebrated his 30th anniversary on the stage, which he celebrated with a four-part special on Netflix and a related vinyl album. In 2019, he released his fifth Netflix special. So far, Chappelle has received two Grammy Awards, two Emmy Awards and the Pollstar Comedy Tour Award of the year.
