In this lesson, participants will explore the depiction of the human figure. For many visual artists, this is one of the most important subjects into which they can project their fantasies, dreams, desires, worries or demons. They will look for inspiration in the NGP exhibitions. They will create a portrait of the human figure based on a live model. First, based on measurements, proportions, perspective. Then they'll move on to anatomy. But they will also try to capture the essence of the model, the soul or how the person affects us. They will demonstrate the basics of painting with watercolor or gouache and talk about color theory, mixing, and various techniques.
