About Dyen
Dyen appeared out of nowhere in 2017 and has since carved out a niche for himself. He started producing at the age of 17 and was signed two years later for his debut album. Born and raised in Rotterdam, Dyen was influenced and inspired by Holland's rave city from the start, The oldschool 90's gab, raw techno and primary hardcore can still be heard in his DJ sets today.
He reshapes and reinterprets the past into something hyper-modern, individualistic and raw that he calls "neorave" or "old school hard techno"; relentless pounding kicks that fight for space with aggressive, stabbing, trance-like synths, making way for something new and distinctive on the dancefloor. With more than two handfuls of releases since 2017 on labels like GENX, EXHALE, Possession, and Rave Alert, DYEN is solidifying his presence in the heavier realm of techno.
