The artist-run non-profit label "Ghost Palace" celebrates its label night on 7.11.23 at Heizhaus, Nürnberg. Three artists from the label or its environment will perform live for a small price. Shaken up by the drastic upheavals in the music business in recent years, various artists from Berlin, London, Seattle, Vancouver and Utrecht launched "Ghost Palace" in early 2022. A label where all profits go to the artists to support them in what is most important to them - their music. The musicians of Ghost Palace are united by the desire to express their inner selves in musical diversity. Do It Yourself becomes even more consistently Do Your Thing. On this evening, you can experience a broad mix of styles from the most diverse directions of post-punk.

Lazy Giants (Post-Punk, Noiserock / San Francisco, Berlin) The story of the Lazy Giants reads like a post-punk trashy novel: At the end of the 70s they already played with the Ramones and were booked as support for the infamous last Sex Pistols concert in San Francisco. But the band was always thwarted: band members died, had nervous breakdowns, overdosed, or were more successful with their other projects (e.g. Flipper or American Music Club). The fact that their new album, only their third, is finally being released on the Mars Volta label underlines that they were an important influence for many experimental guitar bands from Sonic Youth to Pavement. The buzzing sound of the two original guitarists, which Jeff Buckley named as inspiration for his new album shortly before his death, combined with the energy of the young newcomers on drums, bass and vocals still makes the band a relevant instance of postpunk. By the way, after "Negative Trend" and "Toiling Midgets" they have currently changed their name for the third time: to "Lazy Giants". Craig Gray - guitar/bass Paul Hood - Guitar Daniel Cerny - Vocals/Bass/Clarinet Daniel Benyamin - Drums.

Vincent von Flieger (Ambient, SynthPop / Nuremberg) What was actually only planned as an affair of the heart on the side led to 2 China tours in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, or Hong Kong, to numerous gigs at home and abroad, and to festival appearances like the one at Dockville or Fusion. Vincent von Flieger has matured as a musician and producer, creating an unmistakable and genuine stylistic intensity with his mix of singer-songwriter and electronic music.

Mizerák (Psychedelic, Ambient Rock / Leipzig) Mizerák is a Leipzig-based Hungarian multi-instrumentalist, composer and sound designer. Playing in various bands, he has toured all over Europe, but also found himself as a musical director on several theatre stages. An uninspired and tiring period was followed by a creative break, which resulted in Mizerák's solo start. The musical influence of shoegaze / ambient / garage rock / pop formed his new sound world synergy, which is performed live as a quartet. quartet.
