About Johannes Albert
Johannes Albert does not only own his two own labels, he also frequently travels around Germany and Europe to play gigs, releases music through imprints such as White or Retreat and creates popular online mixes, besides several side projects.
He had been raised in Franconia, in Würzburg, where he first found and fell in love with house, followed by techno, acid, afro, EBM, boogie, Italo disco and many other electronic genres. Soon, he became interested in DJing and received a lot of advice of his local colleagues. It did not take long until he went on from the clubs of his hometown to becoming a staple of the German scene.
Johannes founded his main label Frank Music in 2011, mainly as an output for his own productions like his debut album Hotel Novalis, but other artists like Lauer or Fred P have also contributed to the label.
Since moving to Berlin, Johannes has found his home as a resident of the notorious club Salon zur Wilden Renate and at the decks of dance floors all over the planet.
