About Jonathan Hultén
With his solo career, Jonathan Hultén moves in a completely different area than his main band, Tribulation. Instead of loud guitars and aggressive vocals, Hultén produces a dark atmosphere with acoustic instruments and minimal keyboards, all in the tradition of Nick Drake or Led Zeppelin. The fact that delicate acoustic guitar sounds and melancholic clear vocals come from the pen of a Death Metal musician may be a rare phenomenon, but that is what makes it all the more interesting. As a full-time songwriter and guitarist of the Swedish Death Metal Newcomer Tribulation, he shook off all clichés of the genre and brought melodies into an otherwise unmelodious genre.
