About Karaś/Rogucki
Karaś/Rogucki is a duo that appeared on the Polish market after the announcement of the bands Coma and The Dumplings' disbanding. Kuba Karaś is in charge of production and Piotr Rogucki is responsible for lyrics. The seemingly breakneck combination of two different sensibilities and metrics gave a harmonious effect in the form of material that saw the light of day in early 2020 in the form of an album. Ostatni bastion romantyzmu was released in early 2020 on the Kayax label and contains material that the artists themselves describe as automotive-catastrophic erotica. These are songs about feelings in the era of the end of civilization. The whole took a dark and dense form, inspired by the music of the 80s, cold wave and new romantic. 2022 saw the release of their second album Czułe kontyngenty, continuing this trajectory.
