Keyon Harrold

Trumpeter Keyon Harrold will perform as part of JazzFestBrno on 13 March 2024 at 19:30 at Cabaret des Péchés.

When, in the closing concert sequence of the biopic Miles Ahead, shortly before the credits, a sharp trumpet note cuts through the air and is joined by a band made up of stars of the calibre of Wayne Shorter or Herbie Hancock, it seems that the film’s protagonist Miles Davis may have had to rise from the grave for the recording – the brilliant part, performed on screen by Don Cheadle, was recorded by none other than one of the stars of JazzFestBrno, American trumpeter Keyon Harrold.
