Kravchenko Clees Duo + Emmet Cohen Trio

Kravchenko Clees Duo and Emmet Cohen Trio will perform at the Husa na provázku theatre in Brno on 30 April.

A combination of voice and vibraphone, certainly not a common combination. And that is what two former classmates from the University of Music in Dresden, Ukrainian singer Kateryna Kravchenko and Luxembourg vibraphonist Arthur Clees, will bring.

Emmet Cohen has an admirable range, whether he's playing piano or the classic B-3 "hammond", and that includes a mastery of the most classic styles of stride piano, bebop, and current trends in modern jazz, as well as staged classical music improvisations. He performs as a trio with Philip Norris (bass) and Kyle Poole (drums).
