About Mads Langer
Mads Langer is a Danish singer-songwriter, who became internationally known for his cover of You're Not Alone by the British band Olive. He studied jazz piano at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and learned how to play the guitar at the same time. His first album Attention Please was released in 2006 on the label Copenhagen Records. Three years later the second album Mads Langer followed and reached number 12 on the Danish charts. After club performances in Europe, Los Angeles and New York, where he lived for a while, he moved to London in 2009. There he met his manager who got him signed by Sonic Music Entertainment. He had his internal breakthrough in 2011 with the album Behold and the cover single You're Not Alone. In 2011 he recorded the song Habits with Maria Mena for her album Viktoria. the following year he was her support act on her German tour and performed the song with her as a duet.
At the end of November 2012 he released the album Behold Deluxe, which reached number three on the Danish charts. The second CD of the album contains three songs in Danish, which were released a singles beforehand. Overgir mig langsomt was the most successful of the three and debuted on number one in August 2012, staying in the Danish charts for 25 weeks. His sixth album Reckless Twin was released in 2016.
