The legendary duo returns to Europe. Masta Ace & Marco Polo will play in Warsaw and Gdansk, accompanied by the no less iconic Polish duo, Eldo and Daniel Drumz. All as part of the unique Return to the Classic event, which will be hosted by one and only DJ 600V.

In January 2024, Masta Ace and Marco Polo released their second joint album. Richmond Hill is the follow-up to A Breukelen Story, released six years ago. The material is a continuation of the classic New York sound served up by the experienced duo. Marco Polo's boombap production blends perfectly with Masta Ace's rewind. The Canadian beatmaker's instrumentals may also be familiar to Polish fans from collabs with O.S.T.R. or numbers by Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch or Phonte. Masta Ace, on the other hand, is an East Coast music legend alongside Rakim and an inspiration for the likes of Eminem. Add to this the impressive fact that the rapper from New York has been ripping continuously for more than 30 years.

A classic Polish hip-hop duo will play alongside Masta Ace and Marco Polo. Producer Daniel Drumz and rapper Eldo will present a cross-section of material. Eldoka is one of the most acclaimed artists in the community: co-founder of the cult Grammatik and later member of the Parias trio. Daniel Drumz, on the other hand, has also developed a musical career outside the rap community. The producer albums Untold Stories and Komorebi, released under his name, and Order in Chaos are important items in the catalogue of Polish independent music. A sentimental flight through these extremely important elements of Polish rap history will be complemented by the host of the entire event, DJ 600V. Not only is there a nostalgic vibe in store, but also an ideal opportunity to get a tutorial on the early days of domestic hip-hop in the 90s and 00s.
