About Mor Elian
Mor Elian is a Berlin-based DJ and producer hailing from Tel Aviv and Los Angeles. She is the booker of Into The Woods, an underground party series in Los Angeles. She has performed at various cities and has become one of the most promising names of the scene.
She discovered electronic music as a child: at the age of eight her sisters, who attended parties in their hometown, Tel Aviv, were her idols. Today, Elian is a globally touring DJ. She has appeared on labels run by Delta Funktionen and La-4a and has started her own label, Fever Am. She also runs a jewelry line.
As a teenager, she realized she wanted to move elsewhere and followed her sister to Los Angeles. At that time, she began DJing more seriously, while er jewelry line equally reached bigger success. In LA, she finished school and started organizing the Into The Woods parties together with Jimmy Maheras. They booked DJs like Noncompliant, K-Hand, DJ Minx and Andrés, artists that are not typical for Los Angeles parties.
Later she moved to Berlin, where she today has a studio. As a producer, Elian has had a very distinct evolution: her first three records, released through Prime Numbers, Hypercolour and Finale Sessions, contain rumbling house and techno jams. Powerful synthesizers create a special atmosphere.
