At the last concert in Studio 1, listeners will find out that Petr Popelka, artistic director and chief conductor of the Radio Symphony, is not only an excellent conductor, but also a double bassist and even a pianist. He has invited the soloist of the final concert of the season, the star German cellist Daniel Müller-Schott, to accompany him on piano in Robert Schumann's Adagio and Allegro. He will then take up the double bass, which he played for ten years as a substitute solo double bassist at the renowned Staatskapelle Dresden. Together with Müller-Schott, Prague Symphony concertmaster Petr Zdvihal, Matouš Hasoň and leading Czech pianist Miroslav Sekera, he will perform Franz Schubert's Piano Quintet Trout, named after the song of the same name.
