Pilecki Institute Berlin

The Pilecki Institute is an international research institution focused on the study of the history and coming to terms with the events of the 20th century. Through its work, the Institute strives to deepen the understanding of the history of Poland in the 20th century. Our aim is to shed light on social, historical and cultural change in Europe during the 20th century, especially taking into account the processes of change in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the common European experiences and values associated with this century.
