The Tropical Kiki Ball

Kiki House of Ambitchous and Ankali invite everyone to turn up the temperature with the most sizzling event of the summer. The Tropical Kiki Ball is going to take place in the urban jungle of Planeta Za.

This kiki ball applies a no-house system (everyone battles as a 007).

Extravagant swimwear, animal patterns, wild flowers, turquoise horizons, poisonous insects, cocktails, sweaty bodies and SPF 50 are more than welcome. Cultural appropriation is not welcome though.

The ball will be followed by Maldades club night from 10pm. Attendees with kiki ball bracelet are welcome to stay without extra charge.

Important notes:

• Ballroom is a space created by Black and Latinx trans women. It's first and foremost a space for self-expression for BIPoC, LGBTQIA+ and allies.
• Ballroom is an inclusive space and all bodies are welcome to join and celebrate, but sensitivity, awareness, and allyship for the community is expected, both in and out of the Ballroom. There is no space for any forms of racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, or any other form of discrimination.
• Photography and videography are strictly prohibited during the Body and SxX siren categories.
• Everybody is welcome to join and watch the ball. It's okay to cheer for the performers, dance to the beat, express joy however one may want to, it's not recommended to enter the stage if one is not ready for it.
• There are no rules regarding outfits for spectators – no dress code nor specific expectations. But it's recommended to get tropical. The category description could serve as an inspiration.
• White participants should always refrain from braids, afro wigs etc. (this might lead to a chop). This applies for spectators too.
