The concert event 6 Premieres will feature brand new pieces by contemporary musicians and composers Roland Dahinden, Didrik Ingvaldsen, Jan Dobiáš, and Dag Magnus Narvesen. Various compositional approaches will be presented by internationally renowned soloists - the German free-jazz pianist Alexander von Schlippenbach, Swiss pianist Hildegard Kleeb, Norwegian pianist Ellen Ugelvik, and Czech experimental musician Mikuláš Mrva, as well as larger ensembles such as the original and compositionally variable PMP Orchestra, PMP Ensemble, and Dust in the Groove.

Swiss composer Roland Dahinden's composition Talking With Trane shows the composer's inspiration by Coltrane's Giant Steps and Naima. Another Dahinden's composition Action Musi*c is inspired by Jackson Pollock's gestural painting. Didrik Ingvaldsen's composition I Left Berlin Two Weeks Ago tells the story of what it is like to stay in certain place, then leave it and come back again after some time. Another Ingvaldsen's composition, Mysteries, was inspired by a book by Nobel Prize winner Knut Hamsun. The Norwegian composer and percussionist Dag Magnus Narvesen is the author of Quod est in nomine?, while the Czech composer Jan Dobiáš has composed the piece Splitting the Same in Two for the PMP Ensemble and the Prague choir Doodles.
