Venue description

Atlas Cinema is located in Prague's Florenc and to its visitors offers two cinema halls with a capacity of 143 and 58 seats. Both halls are digitized and have a good sound system. Great Hall allows projection and 3D films. Cinema passed the extensive renovations between years 2003–2005.

Cinema is often used for press screenings, conferences, ceremonial premieres, screening for schools, seminars, shows and festivals. As part of the cinema is air-conditioned Atlas Café, with a capacity of about 50 seats.

The building was designed between 1935 and 1936 by architects František Josef Stalmach and Jan Hanuš Svoboda, students of Professor Josef Gočár.
