The Broadway Lights project with conductor Steven Mercurio - this time for the second time in the three decades of the CNSO's presence on the Czech and international scene.
Broadway’s bright lights and an influx of the most popular tunes.
The original concert was conducted by Carl Davis, who passed away in August 2023. It is to him that this concert is dedicated, and is intended to commemorate his much-loved musicals.
New York-based conductor Steven Mercurio himself is a regular on Broadway and at Opera Philadelphia. The soloists will be from the unique American Jeremy Winston Chorale and will also be supported by American operatic tenor Richard Troxell, who together with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and Steven Mercurio recorded the 2015 album Classic Broadway.
