Venue description

The Czech Boat, originally the Farmsen (named after a district in Germany) was built in 1953, the last boat of this type. It served as a means of transport for the employees of the ironworks in Ottensener. In 1980 the ship was sold to MBB and served as a ferry from Teufelsbruck to Finkenwerder. In 1994 the ship was extended, renamed Astor III and started to be used as a cruise ship in Henrichenburg. Since January 2007, the ship has been called Czech Boat, sailing on the Vltava River and moored at bridge 16.

Czech Boat provides private cruises and offers a capacity for up to 105 people. The boat has air conditioning, sanitary facilities and a fully equipped bar. The boat hosts a variety of events from discos, weddings and private parties. Cruising on the Vltava River can be done in any weather, as the ship offers outdoor seating and a covered boat deck.
