In June 2023, Dominik Prok (52 Hertz Whale) released a (non-noise) solo album, which is the culmination of his long-term dream of independent artistic realization. The album there is no rescue mission, we are safe is a Slovak response to the tradition of American and British songwriting, of which Prok is a big fan and admirer. The title of the album there is no rescue mission, we are safe is a reference to a poem or series of verses that appears in his favorite mini-series/story, Station 11, based on the book model by Emily St. John Mandel. "There's nothing you can't survive, because there's nothing that you won't do."… "What was lost in the collapse: almost everything, almost everyone, but there is still such beauty." It is a glimmer of hope in a self-created dystopia.
