Exhibition Opening: FAMUFEST – Net(work) of Time

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the festival, the exhibition FAMUFEST in the net of time was created, which presents a complex, not complete, picture of FAMUFEST across time, influenced by memory networks of our sources.

The exhibition was created by students of the Department of Film Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University in Prague under the direction of Tereza Czesany Dvořáková. The event will take place in the premises of the Holešovická šachta near the centre of the festival – the Bio Oko Cinema. The exhibition will open on 7 March with an opening ceremony, during which a debate with guests about the history and the present of the festival will take place, followed by a musical programme. The exhibition will also be open on the following day, 8 March.
