Venue description

The Humboldt Forum is a museum located at Schloßplatz in Berlin's Mitte district and is a place for culture and science, for exchange and debate.

The Humboldt Forum architecturally incorporates large parts of the Berlin Schloss, destroyed in 1945 and blown up in 1950, and combines them with modern stylistic elements. The history of the site is shown in four permanent exhibitions using numerous original objects, media installations and interactive offerings.

The Forum was opened in stages from Dec. 16, 2020, and expands the Museumsinsel museums with its ethnological non-European collections.
