About Jack Garratt
Jack Garratt applied for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in England at the age of 13. Later he started a teacher training and made recordings for his own albums. But finally he gave up everything and decided to dedicate himself completely to music and go his own way.
He wrote his own songs and found a professional management, which brought him together with Island Records. In 2014 he had an internet success with the single I Couldn't Want You Anyway. He performed on BBC Introducing and the BBC Future Festival, he was a musician at the Reading Festival and support act for Mumford and Sons. He had also released several EPs and his debut album was scheduled for 2016. Garratt was the winner of the BBC's Sound of 2016 forecast and was Critics' Choice at the BRIT Awards. At the end of February 2016 the album Phase was released and was internationally successful: in Great Britain he reached No. 3, in Switzerland and Australia the Top 10 and he was also in the US charts.
