Kasárne Kulturpark

Kasárne (Barracks) Kulturpark is the largest investment project of the European Capital of Culture Košice 2013 project. After reconstruction, one of the largest cultural centers in Slovakia was created from dilapidated but historically interesting and spacious barracks buildings. The transformation of the buildings created a comprehensive background for the creation, presentation and support of art and contemporary creative, authentic and experimental culture. The main goal of the cultural center is to provide an exceptional space for the creation and presentation of quality multi-genre art production.
