The gallery Katharina Maria Raab was founded 2015 in Berlin.
The gallery program covers a wide range of artists of various backgrounds and generations who deal with current social, political and cultural topics. The gallery in particular intends to encourage and support the dialogue on and exchange of current topics between the MENA region and Europe.
In addition to that, the gallery questions the current structure of the art scene with the belief that a gallery has among its commercial interest an educational mandate to fullfill. Therefore, the gallery Katharina Maria Raab organises workshops, theme nights, panel discussions, international art fairs and other art events, in order to contribute to closing cultural gaps and enabling intellectual growth.
The gallery is nominated for the award VBKI BERLINER GALERIEN 2019.
