About Kwartludium

Kwartludium is a Polish contemporary music ensemble working with young composers. Contemporary improvised music is one of the key components of the work of the orchestra. They have performed many premieres of Polish and foreign composers. Kwartludium's repertoire includes graphic and intuitive compositions by the most prominent representatives of contemporary music, such as Karlheinz Stockhausen, Carl Bergstrøm-Nielsen, Roman Haubenstock-Ramati, Cornelius Cardew, Ch. Wolf and Dubravko Detoni.
