The Czech audience could already hear the heavy beats and "torn" vocals of Kenyan singer and producer Lord Spikeheart in his previous project Duma. Now Lord Spikeheart returns to Prague with a new solo album, which also draws from the rawness of metal and underground electronic music. Lord Spikeheart will perform on May 9 at Underdogs' Club.
The artist's April release The Adept combines extreme sonic experiments, hard trance and techno, metal and harsh rap, which spills over into a "hellish" roar in Spikeheart's native Kikuyu and English. He invited a diverse range of musicians to record, from Backxwash and Brodinsky to Safety Trance.
