Magical Fountain 2024

Czech technological heritage, the Křižík's fountain is being revived with a spectacular show produced by the company Pyroterra. This unique open-air performance combines contemporary dance, and new-circus arts with hi-tech effects and props on a monumental light dancing fountain, which was created 129 years ago by the famous Czech inventor František Křižík.

The show is performed by a cast of fire dancers, gymnasts, and acrobats on a stage built directly inside the monumental fountain. The combination of the element of fire, water, and light, brings the show to a whole new level of experience. The atmosphere will draw the audience into the action to let them literally feel the destroying power of fire, and the life-giving energy of electricity. This live-action show tells the story inspired by the Czech inventor himself using many advanced stage effects including projection on the water or music played live by the electric discharges from the real tesla coil in front of the viewers' eyes. The show Magical Fountain brings Křižík's fountain venue back to the cultural life with an ambition to be known as one of the best showplaces in Europe.
