Marie Bothmer is a German pop singer from Munich. She has been making music since she was 10 years old and sings with a light, clear voice with a distinctive sound. In July 2014, the then 18-year-old Bothmer was discovered by her music producer on Facebook and the collaboration began. In October 2016 she released her first single Es braucht Zeit, which was in the soundtrack for the movie Unsere Zeit ist jetzt by Til Schweiger and Cro. In November 2016, Marie was on tour as a support with the German musician Chris Brenner.
