Muzeum im. Bolesława Biegasa

The Museum under the care of the Bolesław Biegas Foundation in Poland was established as a result of the fascination with the art of this outstanding artist. It is an institution which operates in close cooperation with the Polish Library in Paris, which is responsible for the legacy of the artist. Pursuant to an agreement between the two institutions, the Foundation is responsible for the promotion and good name of the artist, but also gathers collectors who own paintings or sculptures by Biegas. The Foundation keeps a register of works in Polish collections. It assesses the authenticity and has rights to castings of sculptures. By bringing together the most eminent experts in the art of Biegas in the world, it has all the substantive knowledge about the artist's work. He organizes exhibitions and vernissages.
