Novo Amor

Ali Lacey, better known as Novo Amor, is a Welsh multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, sound designer and producer. His career began in 2014 after the release of his debut EP 'Birthplace,NY'.

Novo Amor was created as a project – an act of defiance after a breakup. But Ali Lacey unexpectedly found something fulfilling and rewarding. The evergreen nature of upstate New York, in which he spent a summer a few years ago, was the springboard for the creation of his debut album 'Birthplace', which was released in 2018.

Ali Lacey lives in Cardiff, in a house that is part home and part studio. The authenticity of his recordings is also supported by the sounds that occur in the immediate vicinity of his house. In his music you can find the sounds of exuberant parties, evening fireworks and screeching seagulls. Novo Amor has released 7 albums so far, the latest of which is Antarctic Dream Machine from 2022.

Novo Amor is poised to deliver a generous dose of dreams, affection, and yearning as he takes center stage for his premier performance in the Czech Republic on April 25, 2024 in the Acropolis Palace.
