Cheerful melodies, lush rhythms and poetic and story-telling lyrics. Such is the musical world of Maria Burger, the Austrian singer-songwriter known as OSKA. The artist is embarking on her Forever Blue Tour, as part of which she will be performing at Warsaw's BAR very club.

Heritage has many meanings: for some it's blood ties, while for others it's looking after the welfare of future generations. For Maria, both aspects are crucial. After all, OSKA was brought up in a huge family, where she was the youngest of eight siblings. At the same time, she struggles to find meaning in the increasingly uncertain times in which she had to grow up. These themes are key on both her debut EP Honeymoon Phase and her album My World, My Love, Paris, where they are intertwined with stories of love, heartbreak and anxiety about the fate of the world.

Even before signing a record deal, she won the XA Music Export award at the Waves Vienna 2020 festival. Her first EP raked in the Amadeus Austrian Music Award statuette in the 'Best Sound' category in 2022 and ensured her presence on the playlists of both mainstream and alternative radio stations. Her debut album, meanwhile, received acclaim from the foreign press, resulting in more than 100 concerts in Europe and support for Tom Odell on his tour, after the artist personally discovered her as a juror for the Anchor Award at the Reeperbahn Festival. In 2023, she performed at the Eurosonic Showcase Festival, where she was honoured with the Music Moves Europe Award, which in previous years went to artists and artists such as Rosalía, Dua Lipa, Stromae, Hozier, Adele, Mumford & Sons and Christine and the Queens. The spring and summer of 2024, meanwhile, will bring her performances at the US SXSW festival, among others, as well as support for 4 Coldplay concerts. And already in autumn, she will embark on a stand-alone tour, which will also not miss Poland.
