A play between structure and freedom; with his band Projektor, the Berlin based saxophonist Phillip Dornbusch creates a special musical picture, marked by his compositorian calculations and the courage for freedom.

In his compositions, the tenorist projects a muscial effigy of the present: Within his pieces he picks up the most diverse emotions, true feelings, which indicate today's zeitgeist. Different atmospheres and colors are created, which stand in debt of the partly extraordinary use of instrumentation of the "projector". Like that, all five characters take over tasks, which are partly atypical for their instruments, and like that create a picture which shimmers unclearly, but is still able to shine.
