The Purple Disco Machine project creates a unique bridge between the roots of the genre and current mainstream trends, and his songs are hits both on the biggest radio stations and on club floors. In the fall, his dance-inducing live act will warm up audiences. Under the pseudonym Purple Disco Machine is German producer Tino Piontek, and as the name suggests, his sounds are rooted in the funky grooves of his idol Prince and the danceable grace of Miami Sound Machine and Gloria Estefan. His musical identity was shaped by his love of disco and house played in the clubs of East Germany, then evolving and eventually conquering the top of many radio charts, amassing more than 1 billion plays on streaming services and securing him the #2 best-selling club artist of all time on Beatport. As a respected producer, he has prepared remixes for top artists such as Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande, Elton John & Britney Spears, Mark Ronson, Calvin Harris, Fatboy Slim. Lizzo even won a Grammy Award for his remix of It's About Damn Time.
