The Back Beat Beatles

The British quartet The Backbeat Beatles, a world tribute band playing original Beatles music, is coming to the Czech Republic to commemorate 60 years since the release of A Hard Day's Night. The musicians from Liverpool, England, the cradle of the Beatles, will visit Prague, Brno, Pilsen, Hradec Králové and Jihlava on their Czech tour. The special guest of the tour will be Jesus Rodriguez (electric piano) in the role of Billy Preston (additional member of the Beatles).

The band was founded in 1994 by musician, actor and singer Chris O'Neill, based on the successful film Backbeat, in which they portrayed the band. The film won the British Academy Award for Best Music. Their presentation of Beatles songs is almost identical to the original, not only musically, but also in terms of costumes and overall stage choreography. The two-hour concert features most of the Beatles' big hits.
