Venue description
The first ever gas industry museum in the Czech Republic was opened in 1999 on the premises of Pražská plynárenská, a.s., in Prague 4 - Michle. Visitors will learn about the history and development of the world and Czech gas industry from its very beginnings to the present day. He will learn everything about the history of gas use, see period gas appliances, models of old production facilities, gasworks, construction of gas pipelines, etc. The reconstructed model of the Michle gasworks shows what the gasworks looked like in 1937, when, as today, it belonged exclusively to the municipality, i.e. the capital city of Prague.
