The Concerts for Prague festival will open with a performance by two young artists in the Church of St. Simon and Jude on 6 January 2024.

Veronika Hajnová is a mezzo-soprano who graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She made her debut at the Prague State Opera in 2004 as Amneris in Verdi's Aida at the historic building of the National Theatre in 2006 as Ježibaba in Dvořák's Rusalka.

Harpist Joel Philippe von Lerber was born in Switzerland, where he studied at the Bern Conservatory, the Basel Academy of Music, the Zurich College of Arts and the Hanns Eisler College of Music in Berlin. He performs solo and with orchestral accompaniment. Joel Philippe von Lerber will perform in Prague for the first time.
