S/he was a distinctive figure who not only greatly influenced the alternative subculture of the last 50 years, but also someone who was able to change identities and break free from gender boxes. Genesis Breyer P-Orridge (1950–2020) – musician, visual artist, occultist and sound magician. Together with their wife Lady Jaye Breyer (1967–2007), they set out to change the concept of their own identity, gender and physical body.

This unique mission to liberate the body, individuality and artistic creation can now be thoroughly explored on a guided tour with Otto M. Urban, curator of the exhibition It Is a Painful Thing to Be Alone: We Are But One, and with artist Eric Heist, who collaborated with Genesis Breyer P-Orridge to create the Candy Factory project.

Eric Heist will not only present his silkscreen paintings, but will also bring back memories of the personality of Genesis Breyer P-Orridge. Curator Otto M. Urban will place P-Orridge's work in a broader artistic, musical and social context.
