Warsaw Gallery Weekend 2024

Warsaw Gallery Weekend is the largest event in Poland dedicated to contemporary art, and one of the leading reviews of new art in Central and Eastern Europe. WGW allows you to see the art world from a different perspective - not through the prism of museums and cultural centres, but where art is alive and contact with artists is direct. This year's art festival will once again be extended to include a programme of accompanying events, allowing even more people to access free culture.

This year's edition of Warsaw Gallery Weekend will see the debut of two galleries: Molski and Widna. Again, after a break, we will see the Fort Institute of Photography and the Foundation for the Archaeology of Photography, which will translate into a strong representation of photographic art in the review programme. Magnetic Fields returns under the new name WHOISPOLA. Two guest foreign galleries, VUNU and Longtermhandstand, will present a group exhibition presenting a broad overview of current Hungarian art.

Warsaw Gallery Weekend 2024 will feature a variety of exhibitions by female and male artists. Solo exhibitions will feature works by Joanna Rajkowska, Piotr Uklański, Zbigniew Libera and Leon Tarasewicz, among others. Works by foreign artists will be presented by the galleries Biuro Wystaw, Piana, Krupa and Galeria Wschód, which will show works by Nelly Agassi. Aneta Grzeszykowska, Róża Litwa, Olaf Brzeski, Piotr Łakomy, Paweł Baśnik, Iza Opiełka, Kinga Nowak, Daniel Kotowski, Katarzyna Wiesiołek and Karol Radziszewski are just some of the names that art viewers will encounter in a diverse programme of collective gallery exhibitions. Once again, as part of the WGW, the ING Polish Art Foundation will be awarding prizes to female artists, artists or artist groups whose works will be included in the co-collection, the winners will be selected by an international jury.
