About Flipper
Flipper is an American punk band from San Francisco, California. The band was founded in 1979 and an influence for various bands of alternative rock such as Nirvana, Killdozer and The Melvins with their gritty, monotonous, bass-heavy style that was later dubbed Noise-Rock.They released, among others, the albums Generic (1981), Public Flipper (1986), Sex Bomb Babay (1988) and Fight (2009).
