Jaroslav Fragner Gallery

The gallery of architecture in the premises of Betlémská beseda is under the administration of the Czech Technical University in Prague from 2023. The goal of the gallery is to mediate architecture critically in its social, cultural, environmental, economic and legal dimensions. The gallery believes that placing architecture in this context can contribute to mutual understanding, greater cohesion and consideration in society. In addition to exhibitions, the gallery will also focus on organizing lectures, workshops, film screenings and other forms of accompanying program that will allow visitors to actively participate in the discussion about architecture. The Jaroslav Fragner Gallery was created as part of the reconstruction of the Bethlehem Chapel, which took place in the first half of the 1950s. From the very beginning, it has specialized primarily in exhibitions of architecture and applied art.
