Norma space

Norma space is a multidisciplinary platform for art and architecture based in Prague. The gallery focus on experimental exhibitions and projects regarding architecture in its broadest sense. Aiming to reflect contemporary life and current issues, it brings together artists, architects and theoreticians and provides space for productive dialogue. Multidisciplinary approach is encouraged, there are no formal limitations regarding used media. In the curatorial approach the gallery combines thematic group shows or site-specific projects with exhibition themes predefined only in their outlines, allowing for continuous alterations in relation to current events. Apart from exhibitions, the gallery hosts a variety of architecture-related events, such as lectures, talks, discussions and workshops. It strives to attract audience from all social and cultural backgrounds. The goal for the gallery is to develop a means for sharing ideas on alternative approaches to architecture and its exhibiting.
