Kristýna Sibinská & Last Phrase

As part of the prestigious Jazz Open Ostrava festival, there will be a unique opportunity to listen to live music performed by young musicians. Kristýna Sibinská, a 21-year-old drummer from Ostrava, will take listeners through the captivating world of jazz along with the Last Phrase group, composed of musicians from Ježek Conservatory in Prague.

Kristýna can boast of winning the international Hit Like A Girl International Drum Contest, which she won at the age of 16. Her talent has been recognized worldwide, whether in the band of BBC's Boris Urbánek, with guitarist Rudy Horvat, or in the AC/DC Tribute Band. In 2023, she received the prestigious four-year scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston for exceptionally talented musicians.

Together with the members of Last Phrase, who have rich musical experiences and bring a whole range of genres into their work, they will present an program of compositions. The concert will take place on June 18 at 7:30 PM in Studio 1 of Czech Radio Ostrava.
