Minus123minut

The concert of Minus123minut, where the band will present new song from their upcoming album, will take place on June 6 as part of the festival Jazz Open Ostrava 2024. Their performances are a raucous mix of intensity and energy from a world where genres such as soul, groove, jazz, blues, funk and world music intersect in a uniquely improvised form.

The trio Minus123minut consists of Zdeněk Bína, a singer, guitarist and author of Czech lyrics, bassist and author of English lyrics Fredrik Janacek and drummer Dano Šoltis.

The band Minus123minut is not only at home in the Czech Republic, where it won, among others, the prestigious Andel Award for Discovery of the Year in 1999 and was nominated twice in the following years. Their music is also heard abroad, where they have won the hearts of listeners at concerts and festivals in countries such as Holland, Poland, France, Slovakia, England and the USA.
