The jurors and the audience of the 67th Eurovision loved them, making them advance to the grand final outright. But can this come as a surprise? When someone attacks the mainstream with a track like Blood & Glitter, it's impossible to go unnoticed. After all, this is about extremely upbeat, march-industrial gothic-style metal with an ironclad riff and aptly chosen single keyboard melodies. What's more, the Napalm Records protégés are not slaves to one hit, as they produce dozens of them. This translates not only into an ever-increasing number of concert hits, which can be heard at the Warsaw and Krakow shows, but also in terms of popularity - the band's latest CD was the most-sold album in Germany in the week of its release. The road to the top? Lord of the Lost have a hunger for more all the time, nothing stops them.
They are joined by opening acts The Raven Age and Empire of Giants. The Raven Age is a melodic metalcore band formed by guitarists Dan Wright and George Harris (son of Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris). The band recorded and released their debut EP in 2014, after which they went on tour supporting Steve Harris British Lion and Tremonti; they have since toured with Iron Maiden, Anthrax and Killswitch Engage. They've released three studio albums so fat, the most recent of which is 2023's Good Omen. Empire of Giants is a German metalcore band, formed in 2016. Consisting of six members – including two vocalists – their music follows the general idiom of contemporary metalcore, infusing it with prog influences. They've released two albums so far, the more recent one being 2022's Troposphere.
