About Please the Trees

With members from all corners of the Czech Republic and different musical backgrounds, Please the Trees is a band full of contrasts. Their sound combines the spirit of everything from Popol Vuh's stylistic expressionism to atmospheric sound walls like Mogwai to experimental folk epics like in the 60s and 70s by artists like Neil Young, Ron Elliot or Jack Nitzsche. The fact that Please the Trees seem to benefit from what at first glance sounds like strange combinations of different sounds, is reflected above all in the latest material.
