The Prague Fringe 2024 festival will take place from May 27 to June 1 in Prague.
Since its beginnings in 2002, the Fringe has grown in both size and popularity. From an audience of only 400 people in the first year, the event now attracts around 6000 attendees each year - of all ages and from all walks of life. The nine-day theatre festival Prague Fringe, which is a mix of theatre, comedy, music, dance and storytelling, takes place at venues across the Malá Strana district of Prague. Taking place annually in May, Prague Fringe is a nine-day performance festival showcasing the work of hundreds of artists from all over the globe in a variety of traditional, and some not-so-traditional, venues in the historical centre of Prague. Each year over 200 performances of around 40 different shows are on offer, running from late afternoon into the night. The Fringe Club - the meeting point for audience members, performers and festival staff - continues into the early hours.
