Památník národního písemnictví

The Museum of Czech Literature has been instituted to conduct scientific research in its field, to amass, to permanently preserve, to register, and to professionally process collections of museum character, to provide the public with access to collections, specifically the collection of records concerning the development of literature and book culture in the Czech lands, including the records that relate to lives, work and legacies of prominent figures of Czech literature and the book culture that dates from the 18th century to the present day; and to the collection of visual art works.
